Lori Johnson

Senior Case Manager

Meet Lori!

Lori Johnson has been with LFS since March 2001, serving as the first employee of the firm, even before it had a name. She holds an AA in Business and Marketing from Clark College. Lori started on the Broker Dealer side of the company and quickly advanced to become a case manager for life and annuity new business. She enjoys the variety of her work and the opportunity to learn something new every day.

Lori is the proud mother of her son, Lane, born in 2022, who is already a little bundle of energy at 2 ½ years old. She enjoys chasing him around on his tractors, as he’s a natural-born farmer.

Outside of her work at LFS, Lori is a third-generation dairy farmer. She grew up working full time on her family’s dairy farm before joining LFS. She still participates in nightly chores, including feeding and milking. Lori is actively involved in several organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors for the Clark County Fair, representing the Dairy Breeders Association. She is also the Secretary of the Lower Columbia Holstein Club and has spent over 20 years as a 4-H leader. Additionally, she has served as the President of a nonprofit organization for over seven years.

Although her family sold most of their cows in 2001, the remaining ones are her pet and show cattle.

In her spare time, Lori enjoys snow skiing and snowmobiling in the winter. She began skiing at the age of 5 and has been snowmobiling since she was 19. She has had the opportunity to ski and snowmobile in four states, including the Continental Divide and Yellowstone Park. During the summer, Lori’s busy farming schedule still leaves room for fun; you can often find her on the river in a boat, at the sand dunes on her quad, or in the show ring at the fair, showing her cows.

A fun fact about Lori is that she has been part of a chase car in the Baja 1000 race, where her team’s Pro Truck won second place after being awake for 36 hours—an experience she describes as one of the best of her life.

On her bucket list, Lori has plans to restore her 1972 Chevelle and travel around the country in an RV.
