Dylan Sharpe
VP of Business Development and Annuities
Meet Dylan Sharpe!
Dylan is a new addition to the LFS family, having joined us September 3, 2024. While he may be new to the team, he’s already appreciating the wonderful people that make this workplace special.
Professionally, Dylan brings 12 years of experience in the insurance industry as an independent representative for leading insurance carriers, specializing in annuities. Before his current role, he served as the Annuity Program & Solution Specialist for D.A. Davidson, a prominent wealth management firm. Growing up with cerebral palsy has deeply influenced Dylan’s approach to client service, fueling his lifelong commitment to helping others make informed, confident decisions about protection planning for themselves and their families. This partnership-driven mindset has enabled him to build a strong track record of success for his clients, his team, and the broader professional community. Currently, he leads an annuity platform that educates clients on integrating annuities into successful retirement plans.
Outside of work, Dylan enjoys spending time with his family: his partner Becky, their 14-year-old son Tanner, and Maple, their lovable golden retriever.
Did you know that when Dylan was just 12 years old, he had to completely relearn how to walk? This experience has instilled a strong sense of resilience and determination in him.
Dylan has some exciting bucket list goals, including living abroad, attending a Super Bowl game, starting his own restaurant or sports bar, and playing on renowned golf courses like St. Andrews.
In winter, you’ll find him hibernating and enjoying football and basketball (he’s not a fan of the cold!). But come summer, he’s all about golfing and firing up the BBQ.
A fun fact about Dylan: he was an extra in a movie during his college days! And when it comes to ice cream, you can’t go wrong with strawberry.
